Anders & Erik are of to Saatchi

Saatchi & Saatchi in Stockholm recently recruited Anders Ekman and Erik Hiort af Ornäs, graduates from the Digital Media Program at Hyper Island in Stockholm.

"It's in their blood", says Adam Kjer, Creative Director at Saatchi who, in concurrence with the CEO, Hans Sydow expresses that "digital is no longer a choice it is an integrated part of every assignment". That is why they have chosen to employ Hyper Island students, to increase the agency's digital competence.

We're coming to Australia

There has been a rumor going around, from Brisbane to Perth, that Hyper Island is to deliver the Master Class to the creative industry of Australia. All we can say is that: yes, it is all true!

In late September we bring the cool crispness of the north to the 'sunny side of the street'. Together with creatives, designers, account managers, project managers and executives we are ready to explore the digital landscape, current trends and the possibilities that lay a head.

We've had the good fortune to have been invited to Australia by the Communications Council, who's motto: 'together stronger' sits very well with Hyper Island's collaborative learning approach. Initially we will be offering two courses: in Sydney 17-19th September and in Melbourne 24-25th September. As springtime comes to Australia, so does Hyper Island.

There is a new sheriff in town

The new Iphone, that comes with an updated operating system, opens up new possibilities for mobile apps' designers and developers...

With over 1500 API:s and new commercial possibilities the new Iphone has not only dazzled us with its good looks and charming ways, it also gives designers, developers, and the industry as a whole, an energy injection. We are really looking forward to hear what the business has to say about it when they visit Hyper Island to lead, inspire and challenge our students at the Mobile Application Program this fall.

From Stockholm to San Francisco

"Got hired? Yes! We’re staying at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners", says Hyper Islands students Hanna & Azin on their blog on June 7th.

When the buzz reached us at the Hyper Island blog, we smiled. We just love a great internship story.
Four months ago Hanna & Azin, students from Interactive Art Director ´10, gave San Francisco a shot. According to their blog, they just loved it and are now planning to stay. That sounds pretty great, right?

Check out their blog and see how the story ends.
Congratulations Hanna & Azin!

Being an intern...

Six guys from Hyper Island's Digital Media 10 class decided to fly across the Atlantic Ocean and try their luck at different agencies in the land of the brave and home of the free. By the looks and sound of it, there is no place they would rather be.
