What is Whydeo?



A combination of Twitter and Chatroulette. That is how the Digital Media students at Hyper Island Stockholm descbribe their new site whydeo.com. Users can record any question they like through their webcam and a video respons to that question can be recorded by another user who believes that he/she has a fun, interesting or relevant answer.

Hyper Island students win 50000 SEK



The digital media class at Hyper Island Karlskrona has made a campaign for argentinian wine producer Finca Flichman's Gestos wine earning them 50 000 SEK. In 23 days they produced a micro site and and ad spot,. Watch the result here (in Swedish)

New tour date for Recruitment Day in London

Scholarship available for Hyper Island students



The Tomorrow Awards believes in supporting the next generation of creative professionals. To this end, 10% of all entry proceeds will be devoted to a scholarship fund given to renowned international advertising schools. For the inaugural year of the Tomorrow Awards, the selected schools are Hyper Island of Sweden and VCU Brandcenter of the USA.

Tomorrow Awards will showcase and award creative and technological excellence without any categories. The concept of a category neutral award show - the first ever on a global scale - allows only the best ideas to rise to the top, regardless of media or platform.

As a respons to the Digital Media student's Help us grow campaign the Argentinian wine producer Finca Flichman are letting the students produce a promo and a campaign site for the Gestos Cabernet Sauvignon och Finca Flichman Shiraz wines.
